“Yeshayahu Gavish, the last living senior IDF commander from 1967’s Six Day War, died in his home in Ramat Hasharon Thursday, Hebrew media reported. He was 99.
Maj. Gen. (res.) Gavish, commonly known as ‘Shaike,’ was survived by two children, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
As head of the Southern Command during the Six Day War, Gavish led the Battle of Umm-Qatef, during which Israel conquered the Sinai Peninsula from Egypt.
The battle was among the largest in Israeli history, and took place on June 5-6, the first two days of the 1967 war.
On the third day of the war, the IDF completed its conquest of Jerusalem from Jordan, culminating with Paratroopers Brigade chief Mota Gur’s declaration: ‘The Temple Mount is in our hands’ — referring to the site of the ancient Jewish temples, in the Old City.
In his 2016 memoir, Gavish said tears rolled down his face at the emotional announcement, but that he also said: ‘They stole the show.’
The Egyptian front, he explained, was Israel’s most dangerous, and saw some of the largest-scale combat of the 20th century; ‘but in the nation’s memory, the strongest thing, which will remain forever, is the liberation of the Old City.’
Gavish retired from the army in 1970, after being passed over for chief of staff. In 1973’s Yom Kippur War, Gavish returned to Sinai as a reservist and commanded the Shlomo Command in the peninsula’s south.'”
Gavish had a big heart. He knew what he was fighting for.
It seems those we have contended with, argued with, reasoned with, and realized there is no changing the mindset – we ask you to at least honor the fallen heroes and what they had in mind, as in rebuilding the Temple (Beis HaMikdash) as a goal. It seems our leaders have forgotten that goal and choose instead to reach beyond the borders which HaShem has not designated, literally ignoring both the countdown to the jubilee and purification required by VaYikra right now, not later, right now.
I ask Sanhedrin, why resist? The law is on our side. Elohim soldiers await, why do you fear? Is it that you believe, like we did in Germany, that this new Hitler will arise to such power that we will succumb the heights of Moshiach? That was our destruction…told to get on the trains – Never Again.
Hubris. Hubris.
YHWH has given into our hands the kingdom – it’s done. Argue this or that, it’s done. So then, why doth thee rage at the night? Like howling banshees and rabid dogs that ate the jezebel. I see the kingdoms before us and what have we done here with these undisciplined snappers. I see no intelligence in provoking fear to a stronger nation, why then do those who do not understand this bark, bark, bark, as if regaining what we have achieved? As if they pretend it is they who achieved all. Insolence.
And that insolence drives insurrection in the ranks. The army is losing morale due to lack of Torah enforcement by top leadership. Ethics and shinola flow down hill. The data is displaying that foreign profiteers are making money off this and that detriment to destroying the entire land based on Torah Law.
So that’s it then, a decision by Sanhedrin must be concluded – whether a continuance into Yom Kippur of Torah violation, which I remind guarantees a Yom YHWH,
Thus said YHWH, the King of Israel, Their Redeemer, the YHWH of Armies: I am the first and I am the last, And there is no god but Me.

“The central and arguably most important passage in this work, chapter 16, describes the pivotal moment of the year for the custodians – also known as priests – of the palace. It is an incredible chapter which details the once-a-year procedure for a single priest to enter the room which was thought to be the very throne room of the Almighty, the purpose being to cleanse the room of any and all traces of a substance called tumah, usually translated as impurity.
This tumah would be brought in a few different ways; Some of these ways were just natural and unavoidable aspects of life (certain diseases, bearing children, and being in close proximity to the dead), while it can also come to exist as a result of transgressing against the law given to Israel by the Almighty. Since tumah can be brought to existence by praiseworthy human practices as well as moral shortcomings, this tumah is in-and-of-itself entirely neutral, neither evil or good.
But as it turns out, the Almighty happens to be kind of allergic to it; He can tolerate it to some extent, but if enough collects, he cannot bear to be nearby.
And that’s what’s going on with these priestly custodians; they are concerned with maintaining an atmosphere clean of tumah, so the Almighty can be as comfortable as possible in his home, his palace, on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.”
(29) And this shall be to you a law for all time:
In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict yourselves; and you shall do no manner of work, neither the citizen nor the alien who resides among you.
(30) For on this day, purgation shall be made for you to cleanse you of all your transgressions; you shall be pure before YHWH.
(31) It shall be a sabbath of sabbaths for you, and you shall afflict yourselves; it is a law for all time.
(32) The priest who has been anointed and ordained to serve as priest in place of his father shall make atonement. He shall put on the linen vestments, the sacral vestments. (33) He shall purge the innermost Shrine; he shall purge the Tent of Meeting and the altar; and he shall make atonement for the priests and for all the people of the congregation.
(34) This shall be to you a law for all time: to make atonement for the Israelites for all their transgressions once a year.

And since you cannot do that, tinok sheishba go mad, and do what they do until we stop them and if we do not stop them, then YHWH will stop them with YOM YWHW, whether you believe it or not. This is what has been happening since 1967 due to the fact we did not observe the jubilee and violated the year 5776. Moshe Dayan and Rabbi Goreb confirmed jubilee when taking Jerusalem, but the failed observation is hydra tumah. Meaning legion – multitude.
“Rabbi Goren was present with Israeli forces as the IDF conquered the Western Wall in Jerusalem. Holding the rank of general, Rabbi Goren knew that the army’s next mission was Hebron. Wanting to be among the first Israeli’s in the ancient City of the Patriarchs, he joined the armed forces stationed at the recently captured Etzion Block, on their way to Hebron. On the night of 28 Iyyar, before retiring for the evening, he requested to be awoken when the soldiers began their march to Hebron the following day.
The next morning he awoke, only to find himself alone with his driver.
Realizing that he had been ‘left behind,’ he ordered his driver to begin the 20 minute journey to Hebron, expecting to meet the rest of the army, already on their way.
Rabbi Goren thought it peculiar that he hadn’t encountered any other Israeli soldiers on the road as he reached Hebron. He thought to himself surely the Israelis had already finished the job of marching on Hebron already. Driving into Hebron, Rabbi Goren was greeted by the sight of white sheets, hung from roof-tops and windows, throughout the city. He was astounded, but understood. In the summer of 1929, Arab residents of Hebron had massacred 67 Jews and wounded many others. The 1967 Arabs of Hebron were, very plainly, scared of Jewish retaliation.
So, they did not fire one shot. Instead they hung white sheets from windows and roof-tops. Rabbi Goren quickly made his way to the Cave of Machpela. Finding the huge doors bolted, he tried breaking in by shooting at the lock, firing his Uzi submachine gun. Finally, after getting into Ma’arat HaMachpela he blew the Shofar, as he had done 24 hours earlier at the Western Wall.
Only afterwards did Rabbi Goren discover that when he left the base at the Etzion Block, the rest of the forces were on the other side of the hill, making plans for the attack on Hebron. They did not know that the Arabs would surrender. In other words, Rabbi Goren, a single Israeli soldier, single-handedly conquered a city of 80,000 Arabs. [without blowing it up].
Jews had returned to Hebron and to Ma’arat HaMachpela!
Rabbi Goren hung an Israeli flag outside the Ma’ara and brought a Sefer Torah inside. The next day he received a telegram from Minister of Defense Moshe Dayan. It read, ‘Take down the flag, take out the Sefer Torah, and everyone who enters must take off his shoes, because the building is a Mosque!’ Rabbi Goren sent back a telegram saying, ‘The Sefer Torah is Kodesh (holy) – it stays. The flag means to me what it means to you. If you want to remove it, do so. I will not touch it.’
Dayan sent an officer into Hebron to remove the flag and Torah. On the way back to Jerusalem, the officer was killed in an automobile accident. Dayan then rescinded his order to remove shoes in the Ma’ara.” https://hebronfund.org
Failed recognition of jubilee is a curse across the land and beyond, which must be remedied through purification of the Temple, which we are now capable to build according to VaYikra and Kohen Gadol. The only difference is there are more people in the world now than there was in 70 CE. And if the Day does occur, according to Nevi’im, it will destroy our city and wreak havoc on the earth until chatat occurs as mitzvot is clear. No amount of cry upon Yom Kippur will remove the tumah, for the Lord of Hosts rejects the stink!
“President Donald Trump said Palestinians will not have the right to return to their homes in the Gaza Strip under his proposal for U.S. ownership of the territory in a Fox News interview, describing Gaza as ‘a beautiful piece of land’ and ‘a future real estate development.’ https://www.usatoday.com/story/graphics/2025/02/10/trump-gaza-strip-rebuild-palestine-return/78221706007/
It is very simple, call off the dogs of war and cage them. We must discuss Beis HaMikdash, and cease destroying our neighbors immediately, which is the only concern atm. Relocation is obviously the only solution now and it must not be carried out by soldiers who care nothing of ethics. We cannot let these base soldiers who know nothing of chatat destroy the ability to remove tumah. Wise Rabbis must step up to the plate with ethics and purification in mind for relocation and compensation. There should be no attachment to compensation from building projects or any gifts to convene the solutions for Palestinians who now require rebuilding of their lives.
Shameless.
You have a choice to make:
- build your dream “Riviera of the Middle East,” atop the bones of our neighbors and Sabra
or,
- Rebuild Beis HaMikdash and be blessed by YHWH
Will the current regime running the show make the right decisions? No, and that’s why we are calling for new leadership and vote for a “no confidence,” ruling that will get the right people in there to clean this mess up. And by clean up, I don’t mean sweep under the rug, but provide for the Palestinians humane relocation and compensation, not death and continued destruction. The Levant requires leadership that contains terrorism, but also has compassion for human life. As of right now we have neither.
